We are so excited to announce the details for this years Mid Year Concert!

Our Mid Year Concert is an informal concert that allows parents, grandparents and friends to see what your children have learnt in class throughout the first half of the year. Our Mid Year Concert is a highlight of the year and so much fun!

WHEN

21st June 2026

LOCATION

Our Mid Year Showcase will be held at Barrenjoey High School Hall.

UNIFORM

All students are required to wear full Katapult Performing Arts uniform to perform in as well as the correct footwear. This includes:

JAZZ - Black Jazz Shoes

HIP HOP - White Sneakers

MUSICAL THEATRE - Black Jazz Shoes

TAP - Black Tap Shoes

LYRICAL - Bare feet

BALLET - Pink Ballet Tights and Ballet Shoes

ACROBATICS - Bare feet

Please note: The venue can get quite cold inside. Dancers may wish to wear something warm over their uniform that they can take off quickly and easily like a jacket etc. Our Brand new Puffer Jackets are perfect for this! We also have Snuggly Hoodies, Warm Oodies or Tracksuits that are perfect for this!

Make sure you don't leave any uniform purchases until the last minute as our uniform does sell out fast!

GROOMING

Any long hair is required to be pulled neatly off their face in hairstyle of choice. Ballet students must have a ballet bun. Make Up is optional.

Please also make sure shoes and uniforms are clean and looking presentable.

COMPANY & SOLOISTS

All Company and soloist students wear their uniform.

Please check the Show Orders by clicking the button at the top of this page to see what session/s your child will be performing in.

If you are unsure of your dancers class names these can be viewed on the Parent Portal or on your Enrolment Confirmation.

ARRIVAL TIME - Students are required to arrive 10-15mins before their session starts. Besides Session 1, all students stay in the audience with family members.

NOTE: these times may be changed so please check back in.

***If your child is unable to attend the concert – please let us know ASAP so teachers can be notified.***
Dance is a team sport and it really does make such an impact when members of the team are missing, we know how much our students love getting to perform on stage, so we encourage everyone to block the date out in their diaries.

If you aren't already, please make sure you are on Band App. Teachers will be posting class updates and videos of routines along with the music for your dancer to practice in the lead up to Mid-Year. Reach out if you need any assistance with joining your dancers classes on Band.

Tickets go on sale 1st June 2026 @ 5pm and can be purchased by clicking the button at the top of this page.

School Aged Child* $14

These tickets are valid for the entire day across all sessions

TICKETING INFORMATION - SESSION 1 ONLY

Adults $20

School Aged Child* $12

These tickets are valid for Session 1

* Children who are not yet at school do not require a ticket if they will not be occupying a seat and will sit on a parents lap.

If you have children dancing in Session 1 and any other Session - please purchase the all day entry tickets

Note: Tickets are general admission, there is no allocated seating or limits on number of tickets you can purchase.
